Playwright, director and actor Elena Carapetis has been announced as the State Theatre Company of South Australia’s resident artist for 2017.
Geordie Brookman announced the news at the Opening Night of Gorgon, Carapetis’s latest play.
Carapetis has long been known as one of Australia’s leading stage actors and began writing later in her career. She will take over from serving resident director Nescha Jelk​.
