After a nationwide and international search, Georgie Meagher has been appointed as Next Wave’s new Artistic Director and co-CEO. The Sydney-based curator and artist will relocate to Melbourne for the role and comes with a wealth of experience, having previously worked at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Performance Space at Carriageworks, and artist-run-initiative Firstdraft.
