Cairns’ KickArts adopts new name for new decade

Introducing NorthSite Contemporary Arts, melding three decades of community drive and experience with a new brand that speaks more to geography and creative vision.

After almost three decades, KickArts Contemporary Arts is ushering in the new decade with a major change.

Now known as NorthSite Contemporary Arts, the rebrand coincides with the organisation’s move this week into the newly revitalised Centre of Contemporary Arts’ building in central Cairns (QLD).

‘NorthSite reflects the diversity and growth of our organisation over the years and aligns with our re-positioning within the national sector … We anticipate NorthSite will encourage greater external investment in our company while allowing us to continue to support artists and co-achieve artistic aspirations,’ said KickArts chair Kim Marsden.
