Sydney Dance Company farewells six extraordinary dancers and welcomes six exciting new faces. Leaving the company are Todd Sutherland, Bernhard Knauer, Josephine Weise, Nelson Earl, Izzac Carroll and Petros Treklis.
Sutherland has decided to take on an exciting new Development role with Sydney Film Festival. Critically acclaimed dancer Bernhard Knauer is retiring from a 14-year professional dance career to explore teaching. Weise has made the exciting decision of moving to Europe to pursue her career, as has Earl, while Treklis has decided to move back to his hometown of Melbourne to pursue a choreographic career.
