Anzara Clark is a paper and textile artist who uses discarded and recycled materials to explore fragility and resilience, critical human experiences and questions of value. Paper is a medium that has a long history of preserving messages and narratives, with the marks we place on them forever telling stories of people, times and places.
By embracing and subverting the literary purpose of paper materials, Clark re-imagines the stories they tell and creates visual poetry that is written in the heart and remains in the mind.
