AKIRA ISOGAWA | Unfolding A Life In Fashion with Roger Leong

AKIRA ISOGAWA | Unfolding A Life In Fashion with Roger Leong

Wednesday 6 March | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

The exhibition Akira Isogawa, is the first to explore the Sydney-based designer’s career of more than 25 years. Known for his fusion of Asian tradition with Australian ease, the exhibition features a wide range of work, mostly drawn from Isogawa’s extensive archive, from which the designer has generously donated to the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Sydney. In this talk, Roger Leong outlines the exhibition and discusses the process of putting together the display and the related book written by Georgina Safe with Akira Isogawa.
