Bill Moseley: A Lake, a Forest and the Dark Voice of the Sea

A new body of work by Bill Moseley boldly reckons with the past in medium and subject, reimagining the sublime in a voyage into the wilderness. Working with old and new technologies – ambrotypes and digital film – Moseley brings together two distinctly different periods of media to reframe and express the sublime. Tapping into the powerful emotion inspired by the experience of nature, ‘A Lake, a Forest and the Dark Voice of the Sea’ is a self-reflective look into the human condition.
