2019 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition

The Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition has gained a reputation for being the perennial arts event to kick off the new year and has a long history of launching the careers of South Australia’s up-and-coming visual artists - with many going on to receive further funding, awards and scholarships, and exhibit their work nationally and internationally.

Twenty-seven of South Australia’s top graduating visual artists from Adelaide College of the Arts (TAFE SA) / Flinders University and the University of South Australia will feature in the 2019 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition.

Featuring around 150 works, the exhibition takes on a special significance in 2019 as it falls in the 25th anniversary year of the Helpmann Academy. A range of creative disciplines will be presented including ceramics, painting, jewellery, photography, printmaking, video, installation and sculpture.

Exhibiting artists will be eligible for 15 awards valued at over $60,000 to be presented on the opening night of the exhibition.
