Call out for exhibitions to present in Canada Bay Libraries

The City of Canada Bay are committed to providing opportunities for residents and artists to come together in their spaces. We are offering free exhibition spaces for artists to exhibit and sell their works. There are a range of spaces available over the coming year and a committed team of staff eager to work with artists to create exciting exhibition they can promote and share with our community.

Exhibition spaces include:

Five Dock Library is situated in the heart of the town centre on Great North Road offers:

  • Hanging system throughout the library  
  • Built in exhibition cabinets for small sculptural works

Concord Library is adjacent to Majors Bay Road and offers:

  • Hanging system within the meeting room  
  • Built in exhibition cabinets for small sculptural works

The Learning Space at the Connection Rhodes on the stunning foreshore of Homebush Bay and is Sydney’s newest exhibition space for video, sound, and digital art. It features:

  • A striking digital art presentation wall with eight large screen LCD panels, an AV presentation projection wall, and an integrated sound system.

The Digital Gallery features a changing program of exhibitions and displays. You might find digital artwork from some of Sydney's leading artists in an exhibition curated just for us, or a project where we ask for your contribution and ideas to make Rhodes a more vibrant and happy community.

If you are interested in exhibiting works in any of these venues please send in a brief proposal to Council will support launch events and some local promotion.  In some circumstance Council can consider limited support for installation.
