PHOTO INSIGHT FOR TEACHERS: ERICA SECCOMBE

Share and learn ideas and practical classroom strategies that connect the work of visual artist, scientist and university lecturer Dr Erica Seccombe from ACP exhibition Plant + Human with the NSW and National curriculums – Visual Arts and Humanities.

Over morning tea, teacher's will have the opportunity to meet and discuss the work of Dr Erica Seccombe. Led by ACP curator Allison Holland this Professional Development is a rare opportunity to hear directly from Erica about process and practice, and her work featured in Plant + Human.

Plant + Human is an exhibition that considers the intimate cultural and physical connection between humans and the botanical. Dr Erica Seccombe will inspire you with anecdotes about her approach to art practice and special relationship with plants.

This professional development session is endorsed by the NSW Education Standards Authority. 

Completing Photo Insight will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 2.1.2, 3.3.2, 6.2.2 and 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
