Sunday 6 January – Sketch with Skywhale
To launch the series, Patricia Piccinini’s iconic floating sculpture Skywhale will be tethered from the Museum grounds for this session only! Standing tall at 23m-high, Skywhale rarely appears in public so don’t miss your chance to see this mythical creature in person. Please note that the appearance of Skywhale is subject to weather and wind. Skywhale is only able to be tethered for a limited amount of time and we encourage visitors to arrive at 11am for the best chance of seeing and sketching Skywhale on this day.
